Day 255; Weekly Photo Challenge: Create

Exif Data: Nikon D3200 ; Lens:  Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55; 35 mm, ISO 400; f/7,1 ; 1/40 s.

I have a guitar at home, I’ve always dreamt of learning to play it properly and also to play the saxophone, but I haven’t dedicated any time to it so far.

I decided to use the guitar for today’s photo and I reflected it in some drops that I placed on a glass, I used two lamps and spent more than 2 hours shooting and looking for different angles, I got so many photos and it was hard to choose only one; I also had lots of accidents while doing this picture, broke one of the lamps, then spilled water on the other one, later spilled it on the floor, but it was a really fun and difficult picture to shoot.

  1. Another fabulous and creative experiment, Pablo! It’s great that you don’t get turned off by the accidents, but persist (with such a positive outlook) until you’ve achieved what you’re aiming for. I love the magnification of certain areas of the guitar that we’re able to see thanks to the droplets. Nice work!

  2. I don’t know what is more interesting, if the photo itself or the context in which it was created … This is a way to see the world through the eyes of a real artist… of course you know you are an artist.

  3. A true Masterpiece, Congrats. Perfect detail and exposure , woooooow
    Cheers !!!!!!
    Jorge Andrés.
