Day 218

Exif Data: Nikon D5000 ; Lens:  Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55; 26 mm, ISO 200; f/25; 442,8 seconds.

It’s been another long day, but there is nothing to complain at, it’s been a good one.

All of a sudden things have been changing, even the nice weather; we were at my brother’s confirmation and in the very moment we were going out of the church, it started raining extremely hard, it was very windy and there were many thunders as well.

We made it home safe and sound, the church is just 2 blocks away from here, but the city was a chaos, there was no electricity anymore because of the thunders, and it means that the traffic lights stopped working.

That was the perfect opportunity to shoot a long exposure.

  1. Great shot! I’ve always wanted to play with this, but I don’t know of anywhere that would give me a high vantage point in a busy area. I don’t think I’ve vet seen this down when the power is out. Well done.

  2. The light trails on the streets remind me of huge cables with lines inside for communication. Like spaghetti noodles! This is symbolic of high-tech communication to me. I like it very much, Pablo.

Comments and critiques are apreciated.
