Day 210

Exif Data: Nikon D5000; Lens: Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55; 55 mm; ISO 200; f/6,3; 1/160 sec.

Walking around I saw a really beautiful flower, don’t know what type it was, but I got close to shoot a macro to capture its detail; but while I was getting close I started seeing something moving on one of the flower’s petals; then I saw this little guy; I never saw an insect like this one, with such pretty colors and contrast between them, and then it made me think that the flower wouldn’t be as interesting as capturing this little guy.

Feel free to leave feedback, critiques or suggestions.

Regards.

Hola!

Saludos!

Pablo.

  2. And, you were right! Nice bokeh, too. It’s a beetle of some kind. The flower looks like a tulip. Really pretty colors. I like your little guy. I can never do this…too shaky! 🙂

  3. I’ve been itching to take macro shots, too, but have no macro lens yet. Still saving for one because the lens doesn’t come cheap. And after looking your beautiful photo of this cute little guy, I’m itching some more to go macro 🙂
