Day 171

I’ve been doing some experiments with the close-up lens and the manual focus; as soon as I saw anyone in the kitchen pouring any soda in a glass, I asked to let me take a picture before they start drinking it; some months ago I tried something similar, but today I wanted to get the focus right, get more details and even try to get some bokeh.

This golden explosion is today’s photo.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Exif Data: Nikon D5000 ; Lens:  Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55 with a close up lens; 55 mm, ISO 200; f/11 ; 1/500 s.

Hola!

Saludos!

Pablo.

  1. Well, you got some lovely bokeh on this one! What a gorgeous photograph! I have a 55mm lens too. Think I can do this? Ha Ha… Never mind. Don’t answer that!

    1. You should try it George!!
I used an adaptor that I attach to the lens and that’s how I got it, but you have a macro lens right?
The result might be better with the one you have I think; give it a try, it’s fun 🙂

  2. Hi Pablo. This is a really beautiful shot. Visually fascinating I love looking at the world through different eyes, which is what your close-ups do. Another great post. Thank you!

    Cheers,
