Day 156

Hey People!

This is a guadua forest in the inside; I had posted a few pictures of structures made with this wood –Day 54- and another one where you can see how it looks like from far away –Day 101-, but last week my friends from Chile were very interested in this material because we saw lots of things made out of it’s wood, such as lamps, chairs, tables, houses, bridges, pencil holders, a toll on the highway, etc; but I realized that I’ve never showed how a guadua forest looks like in the inside.

The guadua is a great element for construction because of its structural properties, like its strength, weight, capacity to absorb energy and the higher bending strength that makes it ideal for seismic resistant constructions.
